The Golden Spoon Cafe | Review | Menu 🧁

The Golden Spoon Cafe has opened a new branch in Glasgow City center recently, they have beautiful muffins, cakes etc on display in the stand as you can see in the pictures. I had to try one and see if it tasted as good as it looks!

If you scroll down I have a picture of the menu incase you want to find out the prices. I was impressed at how pretty the presentation was. It’s all very easy to see and pick and choose out. I ordered a cappuccino and chocolate/raspberry cake.

The seating area only has about 4 small tables but is nicely maintained, very clean and tidy. The workers were polite, although I was confused when I realised that the cutlery is at the counter and you collect it yourself. You can sit comfortable and go onto the free WiFi and enjoy your coffee and treat.

George Square Christmas Fair Glasgow | Day Out 😝

The George Square Christmas fair is all over now and packed away, no doubt next Dec- Jan will bring more treats to Glasgow’s legendary George square. The fair on the square was really magical, Glasgow city centre doesn’t fail to disappoint with lights and decorations every year at Christmas, its well worth a wee visit!

I had so much at the fair and have some lovely photos to share on this blog, see if you can spot yourself if you were down there. Sweet stalls filled with every candy and a coffee van with a great menu, chocolates and pancakes etc. There was plenty for adults as well as the kids.

The chocolate kisses stall which is there every single year with a good selection of flavours and at an okay price to bag a gift for a loved one.

If I wasn’t an adult then I would have went on, not afraid to admit it. Used to love the helter skelter! but when the carpet slipped from under your arse it was sore lol.

Coffee! Everyone needs coffee for that Christmas shopping ! ( although there are a few Starbucks and Costas nearby )

The wheel was one of the scariest things ever ( afraid of heights ) no idea why I thought it was a good idea! the view was amazing though, pretty impressive and worth a ride on it but if your scared of height’s like me you might want to hold onto the pole in the middle !
