Doing some thinking about all the past books I have read after seeing this amazing book blogger doing reviews, I got some really good recommendations from their feed for future reads! It made me think that I should do a post on the books that moved me the most, maybe you will give them a try. So here we are a list of the most powerful books that I have been lucky enough to read. If you have any recommendations on books that have moved you please feel free to share in the comment section.

The power of now – Eckhart tolle
This one has been around for a while now, picked it up years ago in waterstones ( basically a church for book lovers ) It changed my outlook completely I had a major paradigm shift with this book. I had to reread it and I had the copy until it torn. Have recommended this to friends over the years will brilliant feedback.
Before I die – Jenny Downham
This is a young adult fiction about a young girl who is ill, she gets news she has terminal cancer and we follow her journey through her eyes. This book was a chance read for me many years ago and it has stayed in my heart all this time. Id say its one of the most special books I have had the privilege of reading. This one made me cry and its so hard to make me cry. As soon as I finished the final page and shut over the book I literally collapsed down into my bed and just sobbed my heart out. It was so powerful. So simply written with a clear message.
The secret garden – Frances Hodgson Burnett
This is a complete masterpiece and such a beautiful read. I read this at around 11 years old from an old fashioned illustrated book and it was so magical. I read it in segments and I think it seemed to last forever. It has a great message about friendships and courage, Mary Lennox was such a relatable character for young girls. The movies are fantastic too but nothing will ever beat the experience of the book. It ignited a life long passion in me I have for gardens, flowers and nature and I will cherish the magic of the sunlight hitting the pages as I read through this book in my childhood.
One Mind – Larry Dossey
Dossey’s premise is that all individual minds are part of an infinite, collective dimension of consciousness he calls the One Mind. This state—which we can all access—explains phenomena as diverse as epiphanies, creative breakthroughs, premonitions of danger or disaster, near-death experiences, communication with other species and with the dead. This book is really exciting and could ignite some anxiety in you about the deep questions of life, not for the faint hearted so be careful! It was gripping and could barely put this one down. It made me understand collective consciousness to a better level.
