How to perform a hot stone facial massage
You will need small basalt stones or river rocks that retain heat, make sure you check the stones are completely smooth. At least 4 small stones will be needed. You will need a hot stone heater which you can purchase on ebay and other places online.
Massage oil of your choice ( coconut oil, jojoba oil or grapeseed oil ) which will help the stones glide over the skin. Do not place the oil onto the stones only to the face, apply the stones at acupressure points on the face. Its important to ask the client if the stones are too hot as everyone has a preference.
Have clean towels and clean hands and a nice lace the client can lay down and relax, you can play some soft nature sounds in the background which helps relaxation.
