Grounding or ( Earthing ) is a therapeutic technique that involves doing activities that “ground” or electrically reconnect you to mother earth. The main type of grounding consists of walking barefoot in nature on soil or grass etc, of course watch out for anything sharp ! Ever felt better after putting your feet on the sand on a beach or in the sea ? Well that’s ” grounding “
Grounding does not need to be just your feet, you can increase your skin to earth contact on any part of your body, simply lay down in the park etc. Hug trees ? Lol. It may sound crazy to some people out there but there has actually been some scientific studies with results !
Studies have concluded that ” Grounding ” therapy improves symptoms of sleep disorders, anxiety and depression, chronic pain , PTSD, chronic fatigue. Earthing is a under studied therapy, regardless if the existing studies are just down to fresh air and exercise in nature it is still helping people, people who practice ” earthing ” feel better and that’s the main thing right ?

We have in modern times rubber on the soles of our shoes which does not allow the energy of the earth to move into us through the ground, we rarely lay down outside as lots of people work at home at desks etc, we have simply lost touch with mother earth.
